Yes. It only injects styling over a local loopback connection and never modifies official app files, so your login, chats, and plugins stay untouched.
Can I undo the skin and restore the default look?▼
Yes. Run the platform restore script to remove all injected styling live, or add the uninstall flag for a full cleanup with original colors restored.
Does codex-autoskin work on both Windows and macOS?▼
Yes. Windows uses two PowerShell commands, while macOS needs only double-clicking the included command files with no extra dependencies.
