Frequently Asked Questions
FAQPage SchemaHow to install MuseDock?▼
Run `npx skills add renmengwen/MuseDock --all -g -y` in your terminal to install all skills in this suite globally.
What does MuseDock do?▼
It is a local-first workbench that turns a topic, article link, or uploaded images into a finished short video with script, storyboard, voiceover, and animated HTML frames rendered via Chrome and ffmpeg.
Can I edit the generated video scenes?▼
Yes. Every scene keeps its visual plan, HTML frame, narration, subtitles, and timing, and you can adjust copy and layout in the built-in editor, run layout checks, and re-export.
Does MuseDock keep my data local?▼
Yes. Tasks, configs, cookies, assets, and exports are stored in local directories by default, and requests only leave your machine when calling configured model, research, or asset services.
What do I need to run MuseDock?▼
You need Node.js 22, Google Chrome, and ffprobe on your machine, plus at least one configured analysis model for planning and optional TTS or image models for narration and visuals.
