No. This skill uses Codex CLI OAuth login with your ChatGPT account, so no API key is ever required.
How do I generate an image with codex-image?▼
Type `/codex-image` followed by your prompt, such as `/codex-image sunset over a mountain lake`. You can add flags like `--size`, `--quality`, and `-n` for multiple images.
What image sizes and quality levels are supported?▼
You can choose 1024x1024, 1024x1536, or 1536x1024 dimensions, and low, medium, or high quality. Images are saved with timestamped filenames so nothing gets overwritten.
Can non-developers use codex-image?▼
Yes. After a one-time `codex login`, you just describe the image you want in plain English and the skill handles the rest.
