How to turn YouTube videos into an ebook?▼
Add your favorite channel handles to the channel list, set your YouTube and Anthropic API keys, then run `python main.py`. The pipeline fetches videos, extracts transcripts, and generates a formatted EPUB ebook.
Does it filter out YouTube Shorts?▼
Yes. It checks each video's /shorts/ URL to reliably detect and exclude Shorts, since duration-based filtering is unreliable.
Can I receive the ebook by email automatically?▼
Yes. Add your Gmail credentials to the .env file and the ebook is emailed to you; on Mac you can schedule weekly runs with launchd.
Do I need coding experience to use it?▼
No. Once installed, your AI agent guides you through setup, and the optional Streamlit dashboard lets you manage channels and generate ebooks from a friendly web interface.
