SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

BaaS integrations can blur security boundaries and force duplicate plumbing across the client and server. This skill standardizes official SDK bootstrap, capability-based adapters, and the rule that privileged operations stay behind security rules or server-side functions.

Core Features & Use Cases

One-provider bootstrap file initialized once to prevent duplication.
Adapters per capability (auth, database, storage, realtime, functions) to hide provider-specific syntax.
Clear boundaries between client-safe operations and privileged server-side flows, with a documented handoff to session lifecycle and route protection.

Quick Start

Bootstrap the BaaS provider once, create a singleton SDK instance, and wire the capability adapters for the app's actual usage.

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I structure a secure BaaS integration in my frontend app?▼

A secure BaaS integration bootstraps a single SDK instance and encapsulates features like auth and database behind capability adapters. This enforces clear boundaries between client-safe operations and privileged server-side flows.

What is the best way to prevent duplicate SDK initialization across client and server?▼

Preventing duplicate SDK initialization requires a one-provider bootstrap file that creates a singleton SDK instance. Wiring capability adapters for auth, database, and storage around this singleton standardizes usage across the app.

How do BaaS adapters help manage security rules and privileged operations?▼

BaaS adapters hide provider-specific syntax while keeping privileged operations on the server or behind security rules. They enforce a clear boundary between client-facing interactions and protected server-side flows.

Can I use adapter patterns for BaaS auth, database, and realtime features simultaneously?▼

Yes, adapter patterns support BaaS auth, database, storage, and realtime features simultaneously. You wire capability adapters for the app's actual usage around a single initialized SDK instance to apply provider-aware safeguards.

Why should I keep privileged BaaS operations on the server instead of the client?▼

Privileged BaaS operations must stay on the server to prevent blurred security boundaries and unauthorized access. Encapsulating features behind adapters ensures client-facing interactions remain separate from protected server-side flows.

Are there limitations to encapsulating BaaS provider syntax behind frontend adapters?▼

Encapsulating BaaS provider syntax behind adapters requires strict adherence to provider-aware safeguards and security rules. Privileged operations must be offloaded to server-side functions to maintain a secure boundary.
