What problem does it solve?

Manually managing sales opportunities, deal pipelines, and stage progression in the Alliance Business Suite is time-consuming and prone to data entry errors, especially when handling high volumes of deals and associated line items.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Full Deal Lifecycle Management: Create, read, update, delete, and calculate deal units (sales opportunities), their line items, and associated sales pipelines (deal unit flows) and stages.
  • Atomic Partial Updates: Use JSON Patch (RFC 6902) to modify individual deal fields without overwriting concurrent changes, reducing risk of data loss during team collaboration.
  • Automated Financial Calculations: Let the server compute accurate deal and line item totals, tax, and cost breakdowns to eliminate manual spreadsheet errors.
  • Use Case: A sales operations manager can use this skill to set up a new enterprise sales pipeline, create a deal for a prospect, add product line items, calculate totals, and advance the deal through stages as it moves toward close, all via the ABS REST API.

Quick Start

Use the absuite-deals skill to create a new sales deal for Acme Corp with 10 enterprise license seats, assign it to the Enterprise Sales Pipeline qualification stage, and calculate the total deal value.
