What problem does it solve?

This Skill converts time-sensitive legal updates—like client alerts, regulatory bulletins, or law firm memos—into an actionable checklist of deadlines, obligations, and next steps, so you do not have to re-read the entire document to find what matters.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Deadline-organized extraction: produces a checklist sorted into past-deadline, imminent, near-term, future, ongoing obligations, recommended (no deadline), and informational items.
  • Mandatory vs recommended vs informational labeling: clearly distinguishes legally required action items (with effective/compliance dates) from best-practice recommendations and background context.
  • Applicability filtering support: uses organization context, business areas, and applicable jurisdictions to flag items as applicable, conditionally applicable, not applicable, or applicability uncertain.
  • Source-grounded citations + confidence bands: attaches citations to the source alert and tags each item with extraction confidence (High/Medium/Low) and per-line [Extracted]/[Inferred] fidelity.

Quick Start

Use action-items-from-client-alert on the uploaded client alert to extract all mandatory and recommended action items organized by deadline with citations.
