What problem does it solve?

Education units often lack comprehensive DUA adaptations, leaving learners with diverse needs behind. adapt-dua provides a structured process to add or improve adaptations so each activity offers at least two adaptations across at least two DUA principles (Representation, Engagement, Action/Expression). It also ensures explicit consideration of NEE profiles and preserves original pedagogical content.

• Inventory activities and existing adaptations to identify gaps.
• Map missing DUA principles using patterns in references/dua-adaptation-patterns.md.
• Generate 2-3 concrete adaptations per gap with principle, modality, and NEE profile.
• Embed adaptations directly into activity blocks using Sinapsis markers.
• Cross-check coverage to ensure all activities meet criteria.
• Validate that at least 3 NEE profiles are addressed across the unit.

Quick Start

Identify a target unit, read its current DUA adaptations, and generate two or more adaptations per gap that cover at least two DUA principles.
