The base NanoClaw trunk does not include built-in Telegram admin slash commands, forcing operators to edit configuration files or restart services to adjust instance settings like credential modes, AI models, or agent providers.

  • Selective Tool Installation: Choose to install /auth, /model, /provider, or all three admin slash commands based on your operator needs.
  • Chat-Based Instance Management: Adjust credential modes, switch AI models using short typeable aliases, or change agent providers directly from Telegram without restarting the NanoClaw service.
  • Use Case: An instructor running a NanoClaw classroom can quickly switch the agent model for a specific study group from claude-3-opus to claude-3.5-sonnet directly from their Telegram chat when students request a different model, no manual config edits required.
