SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) and references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This Skill enhances Telegram communication by allowing agent teams (swarms) to operate within a group, with each subagent having its own distinct bot identity for clear visual distinction.

Core Features & Use Cases

Multi-Bot Identity: Assigns unique Telegram bot identities to each subagent in a team.
Dynamic Renaming: Pool bots are dynamically renamed to match the sender's role (e.g., "Researcher").
Send-Only Pool Bots: Utilizes dedicated bots for sending messages, reducing complexity and resource usage.
Use Case: In a complex research task, a team of agents (e.g., "Data Analyst", "Report Writer") can communicate in a Telegram group, with each agent's messages appearing from their respective named bot, making it easy to follow the conversation flow.

Quick Start

Ask the assistant to assemble a team of a researcher and a coder to build a hello world app in your Telegram group.

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I assign individual bot identities to multiple agents in a Telegram group?▼

To assign individual Telegram bot identities to an agent swarm, this Skill dynamically renames send-only pool bots to match each subagent's role. It manages a pool of dedicated bots so each agent's messages appear from their respective named bot.

How do I set up a multi-agent swarm in Telegram with separate bot identities?▼

Setting up a multi-agent swarm in Telegram requires pre-configuring pool bots via BotFather and disabling group privacy settings. Once configured, the Skill dynamically renames these send-only bots to reflect the sender's role within the group chat.

Why do my Telegram bot messages all show under a single identity in a multi-agent group chat?▼

Telegram bot messages appear under a single identity because separate pool bots have not been assigned. This Skill resolves the issue by managing a pool of send-only bots that are dynamically renamed to reflect the specific sender's role in the agent swarm.

Do I need to disable group privacy settings for Telegram bots to work with agent swarms?▼

Yes, you need to disable group privacy settings for the Telegram bots. Disabling privacy settings allows the send-only pool bots to be dynamically renamed and operate correctly within the group chat to facilitate multi-agent communication.

What's the best way to visually distinguish messages from different subagents in a Telegram chat?▼

The best way to visually distinguish subagent messages in Telegram is by using dynamically renamed send-only bots. This approach assigns a unique bot identity to each subagent, making it easy to follow the conversation flow in complex scenarios.

Does this approach to Telegram multi-agent communication use dedicated bots for each subagent?▼

No, it utilizes a managed pool of send-only bots rather than dedicating a unique bot to each subagent. The pool bots are dynamically renamed to match the sender's role, reducing complexity and resource usage while maintaining clear communication.
