FAQPage Schema

How do I automate Hetzner Cloud server deployment with ARM64 and x86 options?▼

Automate Hetzner Cloud infrastructure deployment by setting environment variables for server type (ARM64 CAX or x86 CX/CPX), location, image, and name, then use the hcloud CLI with your API token to provision and configure servers across EU regions with predefined profiles and firewall rules.

What are the prerequisites for deploying infrastructure on Hetzner Cloud?▼

Install the Hetzner hcloud CLI, generate an API token from your Hetzner account, upload SSH keys for secure access, and configure environment variables for location, server type, and naming before provisioning instances.

Can I deploy ARM64 servers on Hetzner Cloud for cost-effective hosting?▼

Yes, Hetzner CAX ARM64 instances provide ultra-efficient, cost-effective European hosting. This Skill automates CAX provisioning with EU-focused deployment constraints, firewall setup, and support for Coolify and KASM workloads.

What's the difference between ARM64 CAX and x86 CX/CPX server types on Hetzner?▼

ARM64 CAX servers deliver energy-efficient computing for compatible workloads, while x86 CX and CPX instances offer broader application compatibility and higher performance for traditional workloads; choose based on your application requirements and cost priorities.

How do I configure firewall rules and SSH access for Hetzner Cloud servers?▼

Upload SSH public keys to your Hetzner account before provisioning, then configure firewall rules through predefined profiles applied during server creation to restrict inbound traffic and secure your deployment.

Does Hetzner Cloud infrastructure deployment support multi-region deployments?▼

This Skill enforces EU-focused deployment scenarios with ARM64 location constraints; you set your target region via environment variables during provisioning, enabling regional server placement within supported European zones.
