What problem does it solve?

AdMob UX Best Practices provides guidelines and safe patterns for placing AdMob ads (especially Banner and Native ads) in mobile applications. The goal is to maximize impressions without compromising User Experience (UX) or risking AdMob account suspension.

  • Safe Placement Patterns
  • Chat interfaces: Place banners at the top, just below the AppBar and above the scrolling messages to avoid accidental taps.
  • List/Feed: Inline banners or native ads within scrolling lists to blend with content.
  • Dashboard: A bottom-anchored banner is acceptable on the main hub only if there are no interactive tabs, forms, or high-frequency buttons immediately adjacent; always provide adequate padding.
  • Excluded pages: Settings/Configuration pages, Form/Input pages, Loading/Transition/Splash screens, high-interaction screens.
