What problem does it solve?

Post QA handoff comment to ADO with QA page URLs, prerequisites, and wiki link. Reuses test page from /aem-doc-gen if available, otherwise creates its own on QA AEM. Use after /aem-doc-gen and /dx-doc-gen.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Lightweight mode reads existing doc-gen outputs to post a short QA handoff to ADO with wiki link.
  • Full mode creates a QA test page on QA AEM when doc-gen output is missing, then posts the handoff and links to the wiki.
  • Generates and embeds the QA wiki URL when available; if not yet generated, notes to run /dx-doc-gen.
  • Ensures idempotent operations by reusing existing QA resources and checking for existing ADO comments.

Quick Start

Run the doc-gen steps to produce QA pages, then issue the aem-qa-handoff command with the component name and work-item ID.
