SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Phase 1 planning and architecture alignment between stakeholders so teams start with a clear blueprint and success criteria.

Core Features & Use Cases

Strategic Framing: define vision, ROI targets, and resource allocations.
Technical Architecture: specify architecture patterns, data design, security, and scalability.
Task-to-Plan: convert strategy into a concrete task list, WBS, and milestones.
Gatekeeping: establish decision gates and sign-offs before Phase 2.

Quick Start

Provide Phase 0 Executive Summary and Market Analysis to initiate Phase 1 planning.

Frequently Asked Questions about agency-phase-1-strategy

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I plan technical architecture and strategy for a multi-team project before coding?▼

To plan technical architecture and strategy, define architecture patterns, data design, and scalability constraints to align stakeholders. This establishes a clear Phase 1 blueprint with specific success criteria and gate decisions before development begins.

What deliverables are needed for Phase 1 strategy framing and system architecture specification?▼

Deliverables for Phase 1 strategy framing include a Strategic Portfolio Plan, System Architecture Specification, Financial Plan, and task lists. These document vision, ROI targets, security parameters, and resource allocations for stakeholder alignment.

Can I convert a high-level roadmap into a concrete task list and WBS for prioritization?▼

Yes, you can convert a high-level roadmap into a concrete task list and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) by defining milestones. This Task-to-Plan process translates strategic framing into actionable development items and gate decisions.

Does this strategy planning process require a completed Phase 0 Executive Summary to start?▼

Yes, the strategy planning process requires a completed Phase 0 Executive Summary and Market Analysis to start. These inputs provide the necessary baseline context to accurately define Phase 1 resource allocations and technical architecture.

What's the best way to establish decision gates and sign-offs before moving to Phase 2 development?▼

The best way to establish decision gates is to formalize sign-offs within the Strategic Portfolio Plan and System Architecture Specification. This gatekeeping mechanism ensures all stakeholder approvals and technical requirements are met before Phase 2 begins.
