FAQPage Schema

How do I create a strategic roadmap for project management?▼

To create a strategic roadmap, describe your project vision and goals to generate a structured ROADMAP.md file. This establishes a single source of truth for your project management needs, outlining milestones and tracking progress to align stakeholders.

What is the best way to track milestones and align stakeholders?▼

Tracking milestones and aligning stakeholders is best achieved by maintaining a centralized ROADMAP.md file. It allows you to iteratively update progress and dependencies as requirements evolve, ensuring cross-functional teams stay aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

How do I update my project roadmap as requirements evolve?▼

You update your project roadmap by iteratively applying project-specific rules to the stored ROADMAP.md file. This updates milestone tracking and progress as requirements evolve, maintaining an accurate source of truth for your project.

Can I generate a roadmap from an existing codebase and project description?▼

Yes, you can generate a roadmap from an existing codebase by loading project context from description files. The system applies project-specific rules to structure milestones, aligning the generated roadmap with your actual codebase environment.

How many milestones should a cross-functional project roadmap include?▼

A cross-functional project roadmap should typically outline 5 to 12 milestones with dependencies. This range allows teams to track progress effectively over time without losing sight of high-level strategic goals.

Do I need external dependencies to maintain a high-level project roadmap?▼
