What problem does it solve?

Manage the full lifecycle of Alibaba Cloud PAI DSW (Data Science Workshop) instances — create, update, query, list, start, stop, and look up ECS specs.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Provision and manage DSW instances end-to-end, including region-aware ECS spec lookup, image selection, and access control.
  • Enforce a check-then-create pattern to avoid duplicate names, support updates to name, compute spec, image, accessibility, and optional datasets, and provide non-blocking creation with immediate InstanceId return.
  • Retrieve and monitor instance status via get/list commands and guide subsequent steps for start/stop, update, or termination via the console.

Quick Start

Create a DSW instance by providing workspace-id, instance-name, ecs-spec, image-url or image-id, region, and accessibility; the agent will return the InstanceId and current status.
