ALIVE Framework V2.0 — Scoring Framework

To score research proposals, the framework evaluates IDE readiness, research alignment, impact pathway logic, and SROI across a 100-point scale. It generates part-level scores, an overall grade, and funding recommendations based on quantitative thresholds.

SROI calculation in grant assessment measures social return using standard formulas with applied discounting and adjustment factors. It produces sensitivity scenarios and evaluative plans linked to specific funding recommendation bands.

To enforce funding gates during program intake, the framework applies minimum thresholds across its four scoring parts. Proposals failing to meet these thresholds trigger required corrective actions and conditional funding decisions.
