What problem does it solve?

This skill helps you analyze how socio-technical networks form by identifying both human and non-human actors, mapping their relationships, and tracing the translation process from problem framing to mobilization.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Actor identification (human + non-human): Extracts and classifies participants and assesses agency to support ANT-style symmetric analysis.
  • Network analysis: Computes structural indicators (e.g., density, degree distribution, central nodes) to reveal key connections and roles.
  • Translation process tracking: Traces problematization, interessement, enrollment, and mobilization, including controversy and stabilization-oriented assessment.
  • Project planning integration: Uses planning-with-files to structure stages, progress tracking, and synthesis.

Use case example: Analyze how electric vehicle adoption emerges in China by identifying regulators, firms, consumers, standards, charging infrastructure, and technologies, then tracing how interests are aligned into coordinated action and which elements stabilize the network.

Quick Start

Ask the AI to perform a comprehensive ANT analysis for your case, including actors identification, network mapping, translation tracking across all four phases, and stability evaluation.
