SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Drafts individual IEEE paper sections from research artifacts. Triggers when ARAS needs to write any paper section. Enforces validation checkpoints to ensure all sections contain substantive technical content; empty templates or placeholder headers are prohibited.

Core Features & Use Cases

Core Task: Given section name + research plan + scraped items + experiment results, write ONE paper section in LaTeX. Validation: verify the section contains substantive content (equations, arguments, empirical numbers), not just headers or placeholders.
Section-specific guidance: The skill provides structured guidance for abstract, introduction, related_work, methodology, experiments, results, discussion, conclusion, and ensures a transition to the next section.

Quick Start

Provide a LaTeX-formatted draft of the requested paper section using the given research artifacts, ensuring substantive content and validation checkpoints.

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I automate IEEE paper section drafting from research artifacts in LaTeX?▼

Automate IEEE paper section drafting by processing research plans, scraped items, and experiment results to generate LaTeX text. The skill outputs one section per invocation, applying validation checkpoints to ensure substantive technical content like equations and empirical numbers.

Can I generate a methodology section with equations and empirical numbers without writing placeholder text?▼

Yes, generating a methodology section with equations is supported. Validation checkpoints enforce substantive technical content, prohibiting empty templates or placeholder headers, ensuring your section contains actual arguments and empirical numbers.

What is the best way to draft an abstract and introduction sequentially for an IEEE paper?▼

Drafting an abstract and introduction sequentially is handled by invoking the skill once per section. It provides structured guidance for each specific section type and ensures a logical transition to the next section of your IEEE paper.

Does this paper-writing approach work with scraped items and experiment plans for generating results sections?▼

Yes, generating results sections works directly with scraped items and experiment plans. The skill takes your research artifacts and drafts the requested section, verifying that the output contains substantive technical content rather than just structural formatting.

Why does my automated LaTeX paper section output fail validation checkpoints?▼

Automated LaTeX section outputs fail validation when they contain empty templates, placeholder headers, or lack substantive technical content. The skill requires equations, arguments, or empirical numbers to pass checkpoints and produce valid IEEE paper sections.

Do I need to provide experiment results to draft a discussion section for my research paper?▼

Yes, providing experiment results is necessary to draft a discussion section. The skill requires research artifacts, plans, and results as inputs to generate substantive technical content that passes its validation checkpoints for IEEE papers.
