SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Architext provides a structured library of core design-pattern formats and self-checklists to standardize how architecture patterns are described and validated, enabling consistent design outputs and easier auditing.

Core Features & Use Cases

Standard formats for four core mechanisms: State Machine, Pipeline, Decision Matrix, and Protocol.
Self-checklists to verify completeness and consistency before generation of design documentation.
Quick reference for /archi.plan step_4_generate design.md § 2 and /archi.code step_5 audit workflows.

Quick Start

Select one or more patterns and generate the design matrix for design.md § 2.

Frequently Asked Questions about archi-design-patterns

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I standardize architecture documentation for system design?▼

Architecture documentation standardization uses formal pattern matrices and self-checklists to verify consistency before generating design.md outputs. It enforces standardized descriptions for state machines, pipelines, decision matrices, and protocols to enable consistent auditing.

When do I need a state machine or pipeline design pattern for my architecture?▼

State machine and pipeline design patterns are needed when architecture projects require formal pattern selection and consistent design outputs. This Skill supplies standard formats for state machines, pipelines, decision matrices, and protocols to feed design generation workflows.

Can I use these design patterns to generate the design.md section 2?▼

Yes, these design patterns directly generate design.md section 2. The Skill organizes core patterns into a standard matrix that serves as a quick reference for the /archi.plan step_4_generate workflow, feeding structured outputs into documentation generation.

How do I audit architecture design patterns for consistency?▼

Architecture design pattern auditing uses integrated self-checklists to verify completeness and consistency before generation. These checklists feed the /archi.code step_5 audit workflow to validate pattern selection and ensure standardized design outputs.

What is the best way to select design patterns for architecture projects?▼

Design pattern selection uses a standard pattern matrix to compare state machines, pipelines, decision matrices, and protocols. This Skill applies a formal structure with integrated self-checklists to guide pattern selection and validate consistency for system design tasks.

Do I need any dependencies to implement these architecture design patterns?▼

No dependencies are required to implement these architecture design patterns. The Skill operates independently, organizing core patterns into standardized templates to apply directly to system design tasks requiring pattern selection, self-checks, and consistent outputs.
