Frequently Asked Questions about architecture

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I design system architecture that aligns with both business leaders and technical builders?▼

System architecture design produces dual-audience deliverables that map business value to technical feasibility. This approach generates structured artifacts including component diagrams, data flows, and Well-Architected scoring to guide aligned decision-making across stakeholders.

What is a Well-Architected review and how does it score cloud architecture?▼

A Well-Architected review scores cloud architecture against established best practices to ensure robust design. It evaluates your system based on structured pillars, producing actionable guidance and compliance artifacts that validate technology choices and non-functional requirements.

How do I create scalable architecture artifacts for an enterprise platform migration?▼

Scalable architecture artifacts for enterprise migrations are created by defining constraints, data landscapes, and non-functional requirements. This process yields reusable component designs and data flow diagrams that support structured platform transitions and compliance needs.

Can I use this approach for startup MVP system design or does it only suit enterprise platforms?▼

This approach suits startup MVP system design as well as enterprise platforms. It applies a reusable, standards-based method to defined requirements, producing tailored architecture artifacts and Well-Architected scoring for both early-stage products and complex migrations.

How do I include mermaid diagrams in my system architecture deliverables?▼

Mermaid diagrams are included in system architecture deliverables as structured visual artifacts. The design process generates component diagrams and data flows using mermaid syntax to visualize technology choices and data landscapes for technical builders.

What inputs do I need before starting a well-architected system design?▼

Before starting well-architected system design, you need defined requirements including a problem statement, constraints, non-functional requirements, data landscape, and technology choices. These inputs drive the creation of architecture artifacts and Well-Architected scoring.
