SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Area Grab helps you reclaim space when progress depends on freeing up surface area, increasing design latitude, or reducing hostile constraints.

Core Features & Use Cases

Workflow-based space reclamation: Name contested areas, capture adjacent panels, and secure margin for the next move.
Use Case: When the current room is cramped or ownership boundaries are in contention, Area Grab provides a structured approach to regain space.

Quick Start

Use Area Grab to reclaim the smallest set of panels and space that will materially improve your next move.

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

What is space reclamation and how does it help with cramped workflow areas?▼

Space reclamation is the process of naming contested boundaries and capturing adjacent panels to secure a tangible operating margin. It helps you expand usable surface area when your current room is cramped and progress depends on freeing up design latitude.

How do I reclaim contested space and expand my operating margin step by step?▼

To reclaim contested space, use a structured workflow to name the contested area, capture the nearest panels, and apply guardrails to secure your operating margin. This process frees up the surface area required to execute your next move.

When do I need to use a space reclamation workflow for design latitude?▼

You need a space reclamation workflow when ownership boundaries are contested, the current room is cramped, or you require additional surface area to execute your next move and reduce hostile constraints on your design latitude.

What is the best way to reclaim the smallest set of panels for my next move?▼

The best way to reclaim panels is to capture the smallest set that will materially improve your next move. This targeted approach expands usable space while providing guardrails to protect your newly secured operating margin.

Can I use this space reclamation workflow if ownership boundaries are heavily contested?▼

Yes, you can use this workflow specifically when ownership boundaries are contested. It provides a structured approach to name the contested space, capture adjacent panels, and deliver a tangible operating margin with guardrails.

Why does reclaiming surface area reduce hostile constraints in a cramped space?▼

Reclaiming surface area reduces hostile constraints by expanding usable space and increasing design latitude. By capturing adjacent panels and securing an operating margin, you free up the room needed to execute subsequent moves effectively.
