What problem does it solve?
Helps you detect and fix weak academic reasoning by analyzing whether each claim is properly supported by evidence and an explicit, valid inference chain.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Toulmin Model Argument Extraction: Converts a user-provided argument unit (paragraph/section/chapter) into Toulmin components such as claim, data, warrant, backing, qualifier, and rebuttal.
- Seven-Category Logic Diagnosis: Checks for unclear claims, insufficient evidence, logical gaps, circular reasoning, overgeneralization, straw man arguments, and irrelevant citations.
- Multi-Paragraph Progress Review: When given multiple paragraphs, evaluates whether their relationships (parallel/recursive/procedural/turning/summing) actually support the section-level thesis.
