Structured reconnaissance, handshake capture, cracking, and post-exploitation workflows.
Hands-on coverage of WPA/WPA2/WPA3, WPS, Evil Twin, and deauthentication scenarios.
Real-world use cases including rogue AP setup, network discovery, and credential capture.

Quick Start

Provide a step-by-step wireless security assessment plan for a target network.

Frequently Asked Questions about attacking-wireless-networks

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I capture a WPA2 handshake for wireless network pentesting?▼

Wireless network pentesting with this skill guides WPA2 handshake capture by structuring reconnaissance and deauthentication workflows, integrating standard tools like aircrack-ng to intercept authentication traffic.

What is an evil twin attack and how is it set up during a WiFi security assessment?▼

An evil twin attack is a rogue AP technique covered in this skill that duplicates a target network to capture credentials, providing structured setup workflows for real-world WiFi security assessments.

Step by step, how do I perform a complete WiFi security assessment?▼

WiFi security assessment follows a structured workflow here: provide a target network to receive a step-by-step plan covering reconnaissance, handshake capture, cracking, and post-exploitation analysis.

Does this wireless pentesting skill work with aircrack-ng and Wireshark?▼

Yes, this wireless pentesting skill integrates with standard assessment tools including aircrack-ng, Wireshark, Kismet, Reaver/Bully, and Wifite to execute structured attack workflows.

What is the best way to crack WPA/WPA2 wireless networks during a pentest?▼

Cracking WPA/WPA2 networks is streamlined through this skill's structured workflow, which guides handshake capture and integrates cracking tools to automate credential recovery in pentest engagements.

Do I need specialized hardware to run deauthentication attacks for WiFi pentesting?▼

WiFi pentesting with deauthentication attacks requires access to standard wireless assessment tools and supports monitor mode capabilities to send deauth frames and force handshake captures.
