SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This Skill ensures consistency and compliance in agent-generated artifacts and documentation, preventing common errors and improving the quality of AI outputs.

Core Features & Use Cases

Artifact Templating: Provides standardized Markdown templates for various workflow steps (requirements, architecture, cost, etc.).
Compliance Rules: Enforces rules for H2 heading structure, order, and attribution in generated artifacts.
Use Case: When an agent generates a project requirements document, this Skill ensures it follows the predefined structure, includes mandatory sections like "Functional Requirements" and "Budget," and adheres to the specified attribution format, making it easily understandable and processable by downstream agents or human reviewers.

Quick Start

Use the azure-artifacts skill to generate a new project README based on the standard template.

FAQPage Schema

How do I standardize Azure project documentation generated by AI agents?▼

To standardize Azure project documentation, you can apply Markdown templates that enforce H2 heading compliance, structural order, and attribution rules across agent-generated artifacts. This ensures outputs from requirements gathering to final documentation remain consistent and processable by downstream workflows.

What are the mandatory sections for agent-generated Azure artifacts?▼

Mandatory sections for agent-generated Azure artifacts depend on the workflow step but include predefined structures like Functional Requirements and Budget. The standardization process enforces specific template adherence and attribution formats to make the documents easily understandable for human reviewers.

How do I enforce heading compliance and styling in Markdown documentation?▼

To enforce heading compliance and styling in Markdown documentation, apply standardized templates that mandate H2 heading structures and specific ordering rules. This enforces consistent formatting across multiple project workflow steps, preventing structural errors in agent outputs.

Does the Azure artifacts templating skill work without external dependencies?▼

The Azure artifacts templating skill works without external dependencies, relying entirely on internal Markdown templates and reference files. It standardizes agent-generated artifacts for requirements, architecture, cost estimation, and final documentation without requiring additional packages.

When do I need to use standardized templates for Azure artifacts?▼

You need to use standardized templates for Azure artifacts when an AI agent generates project documentation like requirements, architecture, or cost estimation documents. This prevents common formatting errors and improves the quality and compliance of AI outputs for downstream processing.

What is the best way to ensure attribution rules in generated Markdown files?▼

The best way to ensure attribution rules in generated Markdown files is to use a standardizing skill that applies predefined templates across workflow steps. This enforces consistent attribution formats and structural compliance, making outputs easily processable by automated agents.
