What problem does it solve?

CMDO-based backends are cumbersome to scaffold from scratch; this skill automates the creation of a consistent, scalable Node.js/TypeScript server skeleton driven by component settings.

  • Settings-driven scaffolding for server components based on sdd/sdd-settings.yaml, enabling multiple named instances (e.g., main-server, background-worker).
  • Conditional generation of CMDO layers (Config, Model, DAL, Operator) and optional HTTP routes, API clients, and DALs based on databases and contracts.
  • Use Case: Quickly scaffold a new api server connected to a database and providing contracts, or spin up a worker that consumes contracts.
