SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve? Turning raw text, documents, or topics into well-structured infographics requires both information design and visual styling decisions. This Skill automates that process by analyzing source content, structuring it for visual communication, and generating a finished infographic image. ## Core Features & Use Cases - Layout × Style Matrix: Freely combine 21 layouts (bento-grid, funnel, venn-diagram, dashboard, etc.) with 21 styles (craft-handmade, chalkboard, cyberpunk-neon, technical-schematic, etc.). - Content Analysis Pipeline: Analyzes source material, defines learning objectives, and produces structured content while preserving all data verbatim. - Keyword Shortcuts: Auto-selects layouts for terms like "信息图" or "high-density-info" and supports custom aspect ratios and multiple languages. - Use Case: Paste a product comparison article and ask for a high-density buying guide infographic; the Skill analyzes the content, recommends dense-modules with morandi-journal style, confirms options, and generates the image. ## Quick Start Create an infographic from this article about the French Revolution using a timeline layout and watercolor style.

FAQPage Schema
How do I create an infographic from text or a document?

Provide your content as pasted text, a file path, a URL, or just a topic, and optionally specify a layout, style, aspect ratio, or language. The skill analyzes the content, structures it into sections, and generates the infographic image through a multi-step workflow.

What layouts and styles are available for infographics?

There are 21 layouts including bento-grid, linear-progression, funnel, venn-diagram, dashboard, and dense-modules, plus 21 styles including craft-handmade, chalkboard, cyberpunk-neon, and technical-schematic. Any layout can be freely combined with any style.

Can I generate infographics in Chinese or other languages?

Yes, the skill supports multiple languages including English, Chinese, and Japanese. It detects the source and user language, and asks which language to use for the infographic text when they differ.

What aspect ratios does the infographic generator support?

Named presets are landscape (16:9), portrait (9:16), and square (1:1). Custom ratios like 3:4 or 2.35:1 are accepted in the prompt but map to the nearest named option since the image generation tool only supports the three presets.

Does the infographic skill preserve my source data accurately?

Yes, data integrity is a core principle: statistics, quotes, names, and dates are copied verbatim without summarizing or paraphrasing. The skill also strips credentials, API keys, and secrets from source content before including it in outputs.

What happens if infographic image generation fails?

The skill automatically retries image generation once on failure. If it still fails, the assembled prompt is saved to prompts/infographic.md so you can inspect or reuse it.
