SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Git-backed memory and dependency-aware tracking to persist decisions, notes, and relationships across multiple sessions and compaction cycles. It helps teams resume work without losing context or re-reading long threads.

Core Features & Use Cases

Memory across conversations: Survive context compaction with a durable notes/history.
Dependency graph: Model blocks/relationships to coordinate teammates.
Session handoff & worktrees: Isolate work and share state across sessions.

Quick Start

Initialize a beads project, run bd ready to surface work, and use the notes field to capture decisions, outcomes, and milestones. Create epics and tasks with dependencies to coordinate multi-day efforts; remember to run bd sync to persist changes.
