FAQPage Schema

How do I extract structured experimental data from scientific papers?▼

To extract structured experimental data from scientific papers, this Skill uses the BGPT MCP server to retrieve over 25 metadata fields per study. It pulls specific methodologies, quantitative results, sample sizes, and quality scores directly from full-text literature.

Can I find specific quantitative results like p-values and dosages during a literature search?▼

Yes, you can find specific quantitative results during a literature search. The Skill scans full-text studies to extract exact p-values, sample sizes, and dosage information, making it ideal for targeted queries and evidence synthesis.

What is the best way to gather experimental parameters for a systematic review?▼

The best way to gather experimental parameters for a systematic review is to query full-text studies via the BGPT server. This approach retrieves detailed methodologies and quality assessments that go beyond standard abstract-level database searches.

Do I need to configure the BGPT MCP server to search full-text studies?▼

Yes, you need to configure the BGPT MCP server to search full-text studies. This prerequisite setup provides the Skill with the necessary access to extract the 25 structured metadata fields from scientific literature.

Are there limitations to using this approach for evidence synthesis?▼

A limitation for evidence synthesis is that the Skill depends entirely on the BGPT MCP server configuration to access full-text studies. Without proper server setup, it cannot retrieve the structured experimental data or quality scores needed for your research.
