FAQPage Schema

How do I automate UniFi network health monitoring for my small business?▼

You can automate UniFi network health monitoring by running scheduled medbay health checks across WAN, LAN, and WLAN, which yields immediate issue detection and triggers auto-heal actions without manual toil.

Can I run a security audit on my UniFi gateway and devices?▼

Yes, you can run a security audit on your UniFi gateway and devices. The process evaluates your UDM and BGW210 deployment to identify vulnerabilities and reports firmware status for comprehensive network protection.

What's the best way to troubleshoot WiFi issues on a UDM deployment?▼

The best way to troubleshoot WiFi issues on a UDM deployment is using OSI-style diagnostics. This methodically isolates connectivity problems across network layers to quickly resolve client and WLAN failures.

Does autonomous network management support approval queues for auto-heal actions?▼

Yes, autonomous network management supports approval queues through a hypersleep feature. This pauses auto-heal actions to await explicit human approval, ensuring safe remediation while maintaining an immutable audit trail.

How are credentials stored when automating UniFi network management?▼

Credentials are stored using encrypted credential storage when automating UniFi network management. This secures sensitive gateway and device access data while the system performs automated port diagnostics and health checks.

When should I not use autonomous operations for UniFi diagnostics?▼

You should not use autonomous operations for UniFi diagnostics if your deployment lacks UDM or BGW210 gateway hardware. The system is specifically tailored for home or small business setups with these exact UniFi devices.
