FAQPage Schema

How do I automate Bits dev workflows across release tickets and train bindings?▼

You can automate Bits dev workflows by using CLI-based operations to create dev tasks, publish release tickets, and bind tasks to trains. The automation enforces Meego linking checks and workspace discovery to ensure auditable actions.

How do I create a dev task and link it to Meego across different projects?▼

To create a dev task, you configure a template with your target projects and branch, then optionally provide a Meego URL for linking. This process ensures correct task creation and Meego association across spaces.

What is the best way to manage release ticket associations and train boarding?▼

Managing release ticket associations involves creating single release tickets and executing boarding or alighting actions to trains. This ensures correct Meego associations and tracks task bindings within train releases.

Does Bits workspace discovery require specific configurations before querying space data?▼

Bits workspace discovery requires identifying correct workspace data and templates to guide decisions before querying. You must ensure your environment is set up to enforce these CLI-based operations for accurate space data retrieval.

Why does my dev task creation fail Meego linking checks?▼

Dev task creation fails Meego linking checks when the optional Meego URL is missing or workspace discovery cannot validate the association. The system enforces these checks to guarantee correct, auditable actions across projects.

Can I unbind dev tasks from train releases after they have been bound?▼

Yes, you can unbind dev tasks from train releases. The workflow supports both binding and unbinding dev tasks to train releases, allowing you to manage associations and query workspace data to guide decisions.
