FAQPage Schema

How do I track new articles on RSS and Atom feeds without checking them manually?▼

You can track RSS and Atom feeds by adding blog URLs to a watch list, then running periodic scans to surface newly published articles for timely review. This eliminates manual checking and ensures you never miss updates from sources that matter.

What is the best way to scan RSS feeds for new posts on demand?▼

The best way to scan RSS feeds on demand is using a feed monitoring tool that detects newly published items and summarizes what changed. You add your blog URLs once, then trigger scans whenever you want to check for fresh content across all tracked sources.

Can I manage read and unread state for articles across multiple blog feeds?▼

Yes, feed monitoring tools let you manage read and unread state for articles across multiple blogs. You can mark individual articles or all items as read after reviewing them, keeping your article tracking organized across recurring feed checks.

Do I need a CLI tool to monitor blogs and track feed updates?▼

Yes, this approach requires a CLI tool to be installed and configured with your tracked blog and feed URLs. You then use scanning and article management commands to detect new posts and maintain read or unread state across your watch list.

How do I remove a blog from my RSS feed monitoring watch list?▼

You can remove blogs you no longer track using the article management commands provided by the CLI tool. This updates your watch list so future scans skip that source and stop surfacing new articles from the removed blog feed.

Can I monitor specific blog sources instead of importing a full RSS reader list?▼

Yes, you can monitor specific sources by adding individual blog URLs to your watch list rather than importing a full RSS reader list. This targeted approach works well for tracking release notes or updates from select tech and hobby blogs.
