What problem does it solve?

BM25 keyword search provides fast, deterministic retrieval of exact terms and phrases from the agent-memory corpus, reducing time spent sifting through results and enabling precise issue diagnosis.

Core Features & Use Cases

Deterministic BM25 scoring for exact-term retrieval across the memory index.
Quick lookups of function/variable names and error messages for rapid debugging.
Clear guidance on when to use BM25 vs. vector search to optimize result quality.

Quick Start

Use memory-daemon teleport search "JWT token" to perform a fast keyword search.

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I perform a keyword search for exact terms in agent memory?▼

BM25 keyword search enables fast, deterministic retrieval of exact terms and phrases from the agent-memory index, returning precise top-k results for rapid issue diagnosis.

When should I use BM25 full-text search instead of vector search?▼

Use BM25 full-text search for exact keyword matches, function name lookups, and error messages; vector search is better suited for semantic similarity rather than deterministic exact-term retrieval.

Can I filter keyword search results by scope within the memory corpus?▼

Yes, BM25 search supports scope filtering using toc and grip parameters, allowing you to narrow down exact keyword matches to specific sections of the memory corpus.

How do I look up function or variable names in the memory corpus?▼

You can quickly locate function and variable names by running a BM25 keyword search over the agent-memory index, which provides deterministic scoring for exact name matches.

Does BM25 search support deterministic top-k results for debugging?▼

Yes, BM25 search enforces deterministic top-k results, ensuring consistent retrieval of exact terms and error messages from the memory corpus for reliable debugging sessions.
