What problem does it solve?

Create REST CRUD endpoints for a custom database table using Better Route's Resource API. Deny-by-default behavior is enforced and fields() must be defined for sourceTable resources.

  • Deny-by-default for all actions on table-source resources unless a policy is declared.
  • Requires explicit fields() definitions for the sourceTable resources.
  • Supports standard Resource API features: filters, sort, writeSchema, fieldPolicy, deleteMode, defaultPerPage, and custom repositories for derived tables.
  • Use to expose WordPress database tables like wp_myapp_events in plugins/themes.

Quick Start

Define a new resource for your custom table and register it with your Better Route router to expose the endpoints.
