SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Complex design decisions often require multiple valid perspectives explored in parallel. This Skill enables teams to run a multi-perspective brainstorming process using Agent Teams, allowing different analytical angles to contribute simultaneously while humans observe and steer.

Core Features & Use Cases

Multi-perspective engagement: spawn 2-3 teammates with distinct analytical frames to explore a design space in parallel.
Practical guidance for leads: human supervisor frames questions, assigns perspectives, and integrates results.
Use Case: ideal for architecture decisions spanning frontend, backend, and infra where diverse viewpoints accelerate decision quality.

Quick Start

Use the brainstorm skill to start a parallel design exploration with a lead guiding 2-3 teammates.

Frequently Asked Questions about brainstorm

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I run multi-perspective brainstorming for complex architecture decisions?▼

Multi-perspective brainstorming uses Agent Teams to spawn 2-3 teammates with distinct analytical frames, exploring design space in parallel while a human lead guides perspectives and synthesizes outcomes.

What is the workflow for parallel design exploration using agent teams?▼

Parallel design exploration enforces a four-phase workflow: context framing, parallel exploration by teammates, convergence of perspectives, and design document creation outputting to docs/plans/YYYY-MM-DD-<topic>-design.md.

Can I use collaborative design to explore frontend, backend, and infrastructure viewpoints simultaneously?▼

Yes, collaborative design with agent teams is ideal for architecture decisions spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure, allowing diverse viewpoints to contribute simultaneously to accelerate decision quality.

How do I start a design-thinking session with multiple agents contributing different analytical angles?▼

Start by framing questions and assigning perspectives as a human supervisor, then spawn 2-3 teammates to run a parallel design exploration that you observe, steer, and integrate into a final design artifact.

What output format does the multi-perspective brainstorming skill generate?▼

The multi-perspective brainstorming skill generates a design artifact saved as a markdown file at docs/plans/YYYY-MM-DD-<topic>-design.md, capturing the synthesized outcomes of the convergence phase.

When should I avoid using parallel agent teams for ideation?▼

Avoid parallel agent teams for ideation if your design task is not complex or cross-domain, as the four-phase workflow and multi-perspective synthesis are built for architecture decisions requiring diverse viewpoints.
