SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Brainstorming helps transform vague ideas into structured design concepts, clarifying purpose, constraints, and success criteria before implementation.

Core Features & Use Cases

Guided questioning and ideation to surface multiple design directions.
Sectioned outputs covering architecture, components, data flow, and validation criteria.
Use Case: ideate features, scope work, and plan architecture with cross-functional stakeholders.

Quick Start

Use the brainstorming skill to turn an idea into a design outline. For example: "Brainstorm design ideas for a new feature X and present architecture, components, and data flow in 200-300 words."

Frequently Asked Questions about brainstorming

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I turn vague ideas into structured design concepts for a new feature?▼

You can turn vague ideas into structured design concepts by using guided brainstorming to clarify purpose, constraints, and success criteria. It applies structured exploration to surface multiple design directions before implementation begins.

What is the best way to plan architecture and scope work across cross-functional stakeholders?▼

The best way to plan architecture and scope work with stakeholders is using structured ideation that generates sectioned outputs. It validates architecture, components, data flow, error handling, and testing criteria during early design phases.

Can I use this brainstorming process to ideate requirements and define validation criteria?▼

Yes, you can use this brainstorming process to ideate requirements and define validation criteria. It supports early ideation and feature scoping by providing validation prompts alongside sectioned outputs for architecture and testing criteria.

How do I generate a design outline covering architecture and data flow from a basic idea?▼

To generate a design outline covering architecture and data flow, prompt the brainstorming skill with your basic idea and specify a length. It will return a structured design outline validating components, error handling, and testing criteria.

Does this ideation approach work for early feature scoping before actual implementation?▼

Yes, this ideation approach works for early feature scoping before implementation. It is specifically applied during early ideation, feature scoping, and architecture planning to clarify constraints and success criteria.

What limitations exist when using structured brainstorming for architecture planning?▼

A limitation of structured brainstorming for architecture planning is that it focuses solely on early ideation and design concepts. It provides validation prompts and sectioned outputs but does not execute implementation, generate code, or replace actual development workflows.
