SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Brainstorming helps teams turn vague ideas into structured designs by guiding collaborative dialogue, questions, and iterative validation before any implementation.

Core Features & Use Cases

Structured ideation workflow that starts from project context, asks clarifying questions, and proposes 2-3 approaches with trade-offs.
Build-ready design specs by guiding the team through sections, design doc creation, and versioned iterations.
Use cases include defining new features, planning projects, and scoping bones/workspace ideas within a bones-based workflow.
The core use case is to facilitate a collaborative design session with explicit stages and guardrails.

Quick Start

Outline the current project and planning constraints, then guide through approaches and design sections with the user.

FAQPage Schema

How do I turn vague product ideas into structured design specs?▼

To turn vague ideas into structured design specs, this Skill guides teams through collaborative dialogue, iterative validation, and clarifying questions before any implementation begins. It proposes multiple approaches with trade-offs to ensure requirements are clearly defined.

What is the best way to facilitate a structured brainstorming session for feature planning?▼

Structured brainstorming for feature planning is best facilitated through a multi-stage workflow with defined steps and explicit guardrails. This process starts from project context, asks clarifying questions, and outputs versioned design documents suitable for gated handoff.

How do I guide a team through collaborative design workshops with clear requirements?▼

To guide collaborative design workshops with clear requirements, outline the current project and planning constraints first. The session then progresses through structured design sections, comparing 2-3 approaches to produce build-ready specifications.

Can I use this brainstorming workflow for early-stage bones workspace design?▼

Yes, you can use this workflow for early-stage bones workspace design. It specifically scopes bones-based ideas by applying iterative questions and formal specs, ensuring a repeatable process before moving to implementation planning.

When should I not use an automated brainstorming workflow for project planning?▼

You should not use an automated brainstorming workflow if your project planning requires skipping the design spec phase or immediate implementation. This process enforces a gated handoff, requiring formal specs and option comparisons before any development begins.
