SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Brainstorming is the crucial first step to translate vague ideas into concrete design concepts, reducing ambiguity before coding or building.

Core Features & Use Cases

Guided ideation: Leads a structured dialogue to elicit requirements, constraints, success criteria, and risks.
Incremental design output: Presents the design in small sections (about 200-300 words each) and asks for confirmation before continuing.
Context-aware: Checks the current project state (files, docs, recent commits) and leverages existing codemaps or codebase specs when available.

Quick Start

Brainstorm a feature idea for the project and request an initial design outline in 2-3 sections, each 200-300 words, pausing for confirmation after every section.

Frequently Asked Questions about brainstorming

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I turn vague product ideas into structured design specs?▼

To turn vague ideas into structured design specs, engage in a guided ideation dialogue that elicits requirements, constraints, and risks. This incremental process operates step-by-step, asking one question at a time to build a concrete design vision.

What is the best way to brainstorm design concepts incrementally?▼

The best way to brainstorm design concepts incrementally is through a structured dialogue that outputs design sections in 200-300 word blocks. It pauses for your confirmation after each section to validate progress against project context.

Can I use existing project docs during early feature ideation?▼

You can use existing project docs during feature ideation. The context-aware process checks current project files, docs, and recent commits, leveraging existing codemaps or codebase specs to inform the design vision.

Does guided ideation work for reducing ambiguity before coding?▼

Guided ideation works effectively for reducing ambiguity before coding. By leading a structured dialogue to identify success criteria and risks early, it translates abstract concepts into actionable design visions prior to development.

How do I start a brainstorming session for product exploration?▼

To start brainstorming for product exploration, provide a feature idea and request an initial design outline. The dialogue will guide you through 2-3 sections of 200-300 words each, asking one question at a time to gather requirements.
