SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Brainstorming helps teams convert vague ideas into concrete design plans by guiding structured discovery, ensuring requirements, constraints, and success criteria are clarified before design and implementation.

Core Features & Use Cases

Structured discovery: guides questions to elicit goals, constraints, and success metrics.
Option-driven design: proposes 2-3 design approaches with trade-offs and recommended paths.
Incremental validation: breaks designs into sections and validates with stakeholders after each step.

Quick Start

Start by describing the project goal and current context, then ask clarifying questions one at a time to refine requirements. After understanding constraints and success criteria, request a concise design outline covering architecture, components, data flow, and testing.

Frequently Asked Questions about brainstorming

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I turn vague product ideas into structured design plans?▼

To turn vague product ideas into structured design plans, clarify goals, constraints, and success criteria through structured discovery. This ensures requirements are fully defined before implementation begins.

What is the best way to gather requirements for early-stage product development?▼

The best way to gather requirements for early-stage product development is using one-question-at-a-time dialogue to incrementally validate stakeholder needs. This method refines constraints and success metrics before architecture planning.

How do I evaluate multiple architecture options during design exploration?▼

Evaluate multiple architecture options during design exploration by proposing 2-3 design approaches with clear trade-offs and recommended paths. This option-driven design method helps validate sections with stakeholders incrementally.

Can I use structured brainstorming for collaboration without prior design experience?▼

Yes, you can use structured brainstorming for collaboration without prior design experience. The guided process elicits necessary context and goals through targeted questions, breaking complex designs into validated sections.

What should a concise design outline include after requirements gathering?▼

After requirements gathering, a concise design outline should include architecture, components, data flow, and testing. This structured output captures the validated design plan generated from the initial project goals.
