SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Gating implementation work until a design is approved prevents rushing into code and ensures alignment with user needs and constraints.

Core Features & Use Cases

Collaborative brainstorming to surface multiple design options before coding.
Structured decision points: clarify context, ask questions, propose 2-3 approaches, and present a design for approval.
Enforced workflow: only after design approval can implementation begin, preserving safety and alignment.

Quick Start

Provide context and present a design proposal for approval before proceeding.

FAQPage Schema

How do I gate coding until a design is approved?▼

To gate coding until a design is approved, this process enforces a structured workflow requiring collaborative brainstorming, explicit design artifacts, and user confirmation before any implementation action begins. It ensures alignment with constraints.

What is the best way to brainstorm design options before implementation?▼

The best way to brainstorm design options is using a structured decision process that clarifies context, asks questions, and proposes 2-3 approaches. This ensures multiple design options surface and are validated before coding starts.

Can I use a design review process for feature and component changes?▼

Yes, you can apply this design review process to features, components, or behavioral changes across projects. It requires presenting a validated design for user confirmation to gate implementation work safely.

How do I prevent rushing into code without a validated design?▼

You prevent rushing into code by enforcing an explicit gating mechanism that blocks implementation work. This requires collaborative brainstorming and a formal design approval step prior to any coding actions.

Do I need explicit design artifacts to start the implementation process?▼

Yes, you need explicit design artifacts to start the implementation process. The gating mechanism requires validated design proposals and user confirmation to be in place before any coding actions can proceed.
