SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This Skill helps teams convert ambiguous ideas into concrete design directions through structured questioning and incremental design sections.

Core Features & Use Cases

Structured questioning to clarify goals, constraints, and success criteria at the outset.
Multi-approach design exploration that presents 2-3 options with trade-offs for quick comparison.
Incremental design delivery with sections that validate understanding before proceeding to the next stage.

Quick Start

Start a guided brainstorming session for a feature by stating the goal. The assistant will ask clarifying questions and then present 2-3 design options with trade-offs, followed by a recommended design and an implementation plan.

Frequently Asked Questions about brainstorming

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I turn vague product ideas into concrete design blueprints?▼

To turn vague product ideas into concrete design blueprints, use a guided brainstorming session that applies structured questioning to clarify goals, constraints, and success criteria before presenting design directions.

What is the best way to explore multiple design approaches for a new feature?▼

Exploring multiple design approaches for a new feature involves generating 2-3 options with clear trade-offs for quick comparison, enabling teams to evaluate different architectural paths before committing to an implementation plan.

How does structured ideation work for unclear system architecture requirements?▼

Structured ideation for unclear system architecture requirements works by delivering incremental design sections that validate understanding at each stage, presenting questions and options in a controlled sequence to shape the final architecture.

Can I use design-thinking brainstorming for exploratory product development?▼

Yes, you can use design-thinking brainstorming for exploratory product development. It is specifically built to apply structured inquiry and multi-approach exploration when project requirements are ambiguous and multiple options exist.

Do I need any specific tools or dependencies for collaborative ideation?▼

No specific tools or dependencies are required for collaborative ideation. You can start a guided brainstorming session simply by stating your feature goal, and the assistant will guide the requirements gathering and design comparison process.

When should I avoid using incremental design validation for feature design?▼

You should avoid using incremental design validation when your feature requirements are already fully defined. This approach is designed specifically for ambiguous exploratory development where goals and constraints still need to be discovered through structured questioning.
