💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

Brainstorming and design collaboration to turn vague ideas into vetted design specs through a structured, question-driven process.

Core Features & Use Cases

Explore project context and requirements to surface ambiguity early.
Ask clarifying questions in sequence, propose 2-3 design approaches with trade-offs, and present a guided design.
Write a formal design spec and prepare for an implementation plan with a governance gate before any code.

Quick Start

Begin by outlining the current project context, then ask one clarifying question at a time to refine the idea and secure user approval before moving to design.

FAQPage Schema

How do I turn vague ideas into actionable design specs?▼

To turn vague ideas into actionable design specs, you need a structured process that explores project context and asks clarifying questions to surface ambiguity early. This approach converts raw concepts into concrete design objectives.

What is the best way to facilitate collaborative design brainstorming?▼

Collaborative design brainstorming works best when driven by a sequence of clarifying questions to secure user approval. You should propose two to three approaches with trade-offs before presenting a guided design.

How do I write a formal design doc for user approval?▼

Writing a formal design doc requires transitioning from a guided design presentation to drafting specifications. You must secure user approval at this governance gate before moving into any implementation planning.

Can I use a structured brainstorming process for implementation planning?▼

Yes, structured brainstorming for implementation planning involves enforcing a multi-step process. After writing and reviewing formal specs, the workflow transitions directly to preparing an actionable implementation plan.

Why should I ask clarifying questions before proposing design approaches?▼

Asking clarifying questions before proposing design approaches identifies and clarifies user intent. This step ensures you convert raw ideas into concrete design objectives and surface project ambiguity early.

What are the limitations of question-driven design collaboration?▼

Question-driven design collaboration requires strict adherence to a multi-step process. You must secure user approval at the governance gate before writing code, which may slow down rapid prototyping or unstructured ideation.
