High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I run a structured brainstorming session to generate ideas quickly?▼

Structured brainstorming sessions use proven frameworks like SCAMPER, Six Thinking Hats, and Mind Mapping to generate ideas rapidly. This Skill guides you through Understand, Choose, Diverge, Converge, and Action phases, applying technique selection based on your goal—product innovation, problem solving, or strategic planning—to yield actionable outcomes in a time-boxed format.

What brainstorming frameworks does this Skill use?▼

This Skill applies six core frameworks: SCAMPER for product modification, Six Thinking Hats for parallel thinking perspectives, Mind Mapping for visual idea organization, Rapid Ideation for high-volume generation, Reverse Brainstorming for problem inversion, and Constraint-Based Creativity for innovation under limits. You select the framework that fits your session goal.

Can I run a quick brainstorming session and prioritize ideas in one workflow?▼

Yes. A quick 12-minute Rapid Ideation session generates 20–30 ideas, followed by Impact/Effort clustering to prioritize. The Diverge → Converge workflow captures ideas, organizes them into themes, and surfaces actionable next steps without lengthy deliberation.

How does constraint-based creativity differ from standard brainstorming?▼

Constraint-Based Creativity deliberately imposes limits—budget, time, materials, or scope—to focus ideation and spark unconventional solutions. Unlike open-ended brainstorming, constraints force creative problem-solving within realistic boundaries, often yielding more implementable ideas.

What output do I get from a brainstorming session?▼

Brainstorming sessions produce organized themes grouping related ideas, prioritized idea lists ranked by impact or feasibility, and actionable next steps with clear recommendations for implementation or further exploration.

When should I use Reverse Brainstorming instead of standard ideation?▼

Reverse Brainstorming flips the problem—instead of "How do we improve this?", you ask "How could we make this worse?" Then invert those answers to solutions. Use it when standard approaches stall or when exploring hidden failure modes informs stronger innovation.
