SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

Brainstorming is a guided, collaborative process that captures user intents, clarifies requirements, and surfaces design directions before any implementation, reducing waste and misalignment.

Core Features & Use Cases

Structured exploration: asks focused questions to uncover goals, constraints, and success criteria.
Multi-path ideation: proposes 2-3 design directions with trade-offs to align with user priorities.
Documentation handoff: generates a design outline and transition plan to preparation for implementation.

Quick Start

Provide a brief project prompt to start a guided brainstorming session.

Frequently Asked Questions about brainstorming

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I turn vague project ideas into actionable design concepts before implementation?▼

Guided brainstorming transforms vague ideas into actionable design concepts by using a questions-first workflow to clarify goals, scope, and success criteria before any implementation begins.

What is the best way to define project scope and success criteria during early project planning?▼

The best way to define project scope and success criteria is through structured exploration, which asks focused questions during early project phases to uncover constraints and align user priorities.

Can I generate multiple design directions with trade-offs for my project documentation?▼

Yes, multi-path ideation proposes 2-3 design directions with trade-offs to align with user priorities, culminating in documentation handoff that generates a design outline and transition plan.

How does a collaborative ideation process handle the transition to implementation planning?▼

Collaborative ideation handles the transition to implementation planning by enforcing a design-first gating process, requiring explicit user approval before any implementation actions are executed.

Do I need to provide a detailed specification to start a guided brainstorming session?▼

No, you do not need a detailed specification to start; providing a brief project prompt is sufficient to initiate a guided brainstorming session that captures user intents and requirements.
