SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This Skill helps teams clarify project intent and design requirements through structured, collaborative questioning before implementation.

Core Features & Use Cases

Structured questioning using request_user_input to batch 3-5 clarifying questions that map to purpose, constraints, success criteria, and integration points.
Offers 2-3 design approaches with trade-offs and a recommended option.
Presents the design incrementally in sections and validates with the user after each part, then documents the final design.
Generates a clear implementation plan and design documentation as the next steps.

Quick Start

Describe your project goal and constraints, and I will guide you through a structured brainstorming session to produce a ready-to-implement design.

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I gather and clarify design requirements before starting development?▼

To gather design requirements effectively, this Skill uses structured Q&A to identify user goals, constraints, and success criteria. It batches targeted questions to map out integration points and project purpose before any implementation begins.

Can I use structured brainstorming for early-stage product and UX ideation?▼

Yes, structured brainstorming is applicable for early-stage product and UX ideation. It helps clarify project intent by offering multiple design approaches with trade-offs and validating each section incrementally with the user.

What is the best way to compare design approaches during requirement gathering?▼

The best way to compare design approaches is by evaluating trade-offs. This Skill generates 2-3 distinct design options during requirement gathering, highlights the specific trade-offs of each, and provides a recommended option to guide decisions.

How do I turn initial ideas into structured design documentation?▼

You can turn ideas into structured design documentation by presenting the design incrementally and validating each section. Once validated, the Skill compiles the results into a clear implementation plan and formal design specification.

Does this structured ideation process work for software design specifications?▼

Yes, this structured ideation process works directly for software design specifications. It guides design decisions by mapping constraints and success criteria specifically across product, software, and UX contexts.
