SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve? Walking into an external call unprepared means scrambling across email threads, CRM records, transcripts, and chat history minutes before the meeting starts. This Skill automates that research and delivers it where you will actually see it: as a private prep block on your calendar before each external call. ## Core Features & Use Cases - Automatic external-call detection: Classifies meetings as external strictly by attendee email domain, never by title, and books a 10-minute private prep block before each one. - Per-company research: Groups the day's calls by company and pulls transcripts, email threads, CRM state, chat mentions, and docs, plus up to 8 web searches per run. - Fact card plus briefing PDF: Each prep block carries a fact card under 200 words with sourced facts, your open obligations, an opener, and a question, linked to a 1-2 page briefing PDF. - Use Case: On a weekday morning with four client calls scheduled, the 4 AM run researches each account, books a prep block before every call, and you read each card on your phone minutes before joining. ## Quick Start Run /productivity:call-prep or ask the assistant to prep my calls for today.

FAQPage Schema
How do I get automatic briefings before my external meetings?

Run /productivity:call-prep once manually and it offers to schedule itself for weekday 04:00 runs. Each run detects external calls by attendee domain, researches each company, and books a private prep block with a fact card before every call.

How does the skill decide which meetings are external?

A meeting is external only if at least one attendee or the organizer has an email domain outside your own-domain set. Titles, conferencing links, and CRM name matches never promote a meeting to external; free-mail addresses like gmail.com always count as external.

What connectors does call prep require to run?

Calendar, Mail, and Drive or SharePoint are all mandatory; if any is missing the run stops and renders Connect buttons instead of partial output. Chat, CRM, transcripts, and trackers are optional and degrade gracefully with the gap noted.

Does call prep send briefing emails?

No. The deliverable is a calendar prep block, not an email, because briefs in an inbox get ignored under time pressure. The only email it ever sends is a failure report with the exact error when a run cannot complete.

What happens if a call is added after the 4 AM run?

Calls added after the scheduled run do not get prep blocks, since the calendar was read hours earlier. Invoke the skill manually to prep today's remaining calls on demand, including on weekends.

Can call prep also prepare internal one-on-one meetings?

Yes. On the first run it asks once whether to prep external calls only, external plus internal 1:1s, or every meeting with another person. The preference is stored in a durable calendar settings record and never re-asked.
