SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve? Long, filler-heavy AI responses waste tokens and slow down reading. This Skill switches the assistant into an ultra-compressed communication mode that drops articles, filler, pleasantries, and hedging while keeping code, error strings, and technical terms exact. ## Core Features & Use Cases - Six intensity levels: lite, full, ultra, plus three wenyan (Classical Chinese) variants for maximum character compression. - Auto-clarity rule: Automatically reverts to normal prose for security warnings, irreversible-action confirmations, and ambiguous multi-step sequences, then resumes compression. - Session persistence: The chosen style applies to every response until the user says "stop caveman" or changes the level. - Use Case: During a long debugging session, a developer enables full mode so every explanation arrives as short fragments like "Bug in auth middleware. Token expiry check use < not <=", cutting reading time without losing technical detail. ## Quick Start Ask the assistant to enable caveman mode with /caveman full so all subsequent replies use compressed prose.

FAQPage Schema
How do I make AI responses shorter and less verbose?▼

Enable caveman mode with /caveman to drop articles, filler words, pleasantries, and hedging from every response. Choose lite for professional-but-tight sentences, full for classic fragments, or ultra for maximum compression.

What are the caveman mode intensity levels?▼

Six levels exist: lite keeps full sentences without filler, full drops articles and allows fragments, ultra strips conjunctions, and wenyan-lite, wenyan-full, wenyan-ultra apply increasing Classical Chinese compression. Full is the default.

Does response compression affect code blocks and error messages?▼

No. Code blocks, function names, API names, CLI commands, and exact error strings stay verbatim at every level. Only prose style is compressed; technical substance and the user's language are preserved exactly.

When does caveman mode switch back to normal prose?▼

It auto-reverts for security warnings, irreversible-action confirmations, ambiguous multi-step sequences, and when the user repeats a question. It resumes compression afterward, and fully stops when the user says "stop caveman" or "normal mode".

Does caveman mode work in languages other than English?▼

Yes. It replies in the user's dominant language and compresses style, not language. Article-dropping applies only to article languages; grammatical particles in other languages are kept, and wenyan levels target Classical Chinese specifically.
