What problem does it solve?

cc-switch-cli eliminates the hassle of manually reconfiguring multiple AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, OpenCode, OpenClaw) when you need to switch providers, update MCP servers, or keep prompts/skills aligned across apps.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Unified provider switching: list, switch, export, speed-test, and stream-check API providers across supported apps.
  • MCP server orchestration: add/edit/delete, enable/disable per app, validate commands, sync imports into each assistant’s live configuration, and keep MCP setups consistent.
  • Prompts and community skills management: activate/deactivate prompt presets, discover/install/uninstall and enable/disable skills, and sync them into each app’s local skill directories.

Quick Start

Ask the assistant to help you configure your Claude Code MCP servers by running cc-switch mcp add, enabling the server for Claude, then syncing with cc-switch mcp sync.
