CCMS case escalations are converted into properly formatted GitHub firefighter issues automatically, reducing manual parsing, mapping fields to the issue template, and ensuring consistency and traceability.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Parse raw CCMS case text into structured fields (CCMS ID, ADO ticket, environment, orgs, user info, VINs, serial numbers, etc.)
- Check for duplicates across the target repository before creating new issues
- Auto-detect labels (base label bug plus contextual labels like env-prod, serial number, 5XX Errors, EAPI, custom model)
- Build the issue body using the firefighter template and present a preview for user confirmation
- Create the issue on GitHub via the gh CLI after user confirmation
- Trigger phrases supported: firefighter issue, CCMS case, oncall issue, file a firefighter, etc.
