What problem does it solve?

It prevents engineering-manager QP certifications from being subjective by mechanically comparing measured quality results against declared Quality Profile thresholds.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • QP standard loading: Reads quality-standards.yaml to determine the declared QP level per dimension and marks deployment-only dimensions (QP-4, QP-5, QP-6) as N/A.
  • Threshold translation: Converts QP levels into concrete numeric/semantic targets using a QP Translation Table.
  • Compliance comparison & verdicting: Compares actuals from quality-report.yaml per supported dimension and emits CERTIFIED or BLOCKED with explicit gaps.
  • Single artifact emission: Writes em-certification.yaml into the requested output directory without modifying source code or running quality-gate commands.

Quick Start

Use the certify-qp-compliance skill to generate an em-certification.yaml report by providing paths to quality-standards.yaml and quality-report.yaml.
